INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Start by washing 2 cups of rice thoroughly.
  2. In a cooker, add 1 tablespoon of oil and sprinkle in half a tablespoon of cumin, 2 to 3 cardamom pods, 2 to 4 cloves, and a pinch of cinnamon. Stir until they are fragrant and slightly browned.
  3. Pour in 2 cups of water, using the same cup you measured the rice with.
  4. Once the rice has whistled three times, it's ready to be served.
